Mounts onto 6 bolt disc-hub to convert your bike into a fixed wheel.

As with all VeloSolo products the Disc Cog is custom manufactured in England by the UK's leading international aftermarket motorcycle gear and sprocket engineering company with over 70 world champions riding its products.

Blanks are machined from EN36 cro-moly steel stock, teeth precision milled and cogs drilled to very tight tolerances before undergoing heat treatment. Bright nickel passivated and laser engraved for a beautiful finish. Very strong, very round and a perfect fit. Not to be confused with cheap laser cut or stamped cogs. Reversible without affecting chainline for even longer life.

We are confident these are the hardest wearing disc mount cogs available and guarantee the original purchase for life to the original owner. If you wear one out send it back and we will replace it with one of the same size free of charge (terms and conditions apply, see below*).

VeloSolo bolt-on 7075-T6 Disc Cog

Exact same design as our regular cro-mo Disc cogs but machined from solid 7075-T6 heat-treated aluminium alloy, anodized and laser engraved. Less than half the weight of the equivilent steel cogs and available in a range of colours.

Note: being aluminium these are ultimately not as hard wearing as the cro-mo cogs so we are not able to offer a lifetime guarantee. However, these are in aircraft-grade heat-treated 7075 and as with our regular threaded 7075 track cogs we expect them to hold up very well to wear. They are of course reversible without affecting chainline so can be run in both directions.

VeloSolo Threaded 7075-T6 1/8" and 3/32" Track Cogs

Yes, we make standard threaded cogs too!  As with our bolt-on cogs these traditional screw on threaded cogs are custom manufactured in England by the UK's leading motorcycle gear and sprocket engineering company.  Machined from solid 7075-T6 heat-treated aluminium alloy with teeth precision hobbed the old fashioned way.  Gold anodized and laser engraved with thread cut post-anodizing for a perfect fit.  Very lightweight and very round.

Wide 7.5mm base will give a 42mm chainline on most track hubs dependant on specific hub specification - much more on this in the FAQ.

Andel (S*rly) Threaded Cro-Mo Track Cog

Look familiar to a well known US singlespeed company's cogs?!  These come from the exact same production facility as S*RLY but without the name.

Excellent alternative to Dura Ace.  Very high quality steel cro-mo track cogs in larger range (and larger tooth count) than Shimano.  Superb finish with laser etching and cut-outs on larger sizes.

Our latest product at VeloSolo is this Boost spacer kit to fit front or rear (with rear available in both NON re-dishing or re-dishing version). Use these kits to fit a 100mm front wheel to a 110mm 'Boost' fork or a 142mm rear wheel to a 148mm 'Boost' Frame. Flexible kits allow rear wheel dishing to remain unchanged or for re-dishing if required.

Custom machined in the UK exclusively for VeloSolo from solid lengths of 6082 aluminium alloy - not cut from tube. Superb quality and precision. Anodized custom colours in black, silver, red, blue, gold & orange. Non-anodized kits also available and can be polished very easily if required.

Front kit (no re-dishing required) allows any 100mm MTB hub with 15mm thru axle to fit a 110mm 'Boost' fork. Very simple to fit - no disassembly of hubs or bearings required. Spacers simply slide onto thru axle when wheel is inserted into frame/fork. Rotor spacer fits behind brake rotor. Precision machined from heat treated high strength 4.0mm thick 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminium alloy rather than the industry standard 3.0mm or 3.5mm. No offset so reversible without affecting chainline for longer life.

Very stiff and very strong. Teeth are hobbed the old fashioned way for superb finish and performance. Classic style with machined cut-outs (42t has drilled lightening holes). Minimal lead chamfer and full height teeth with no cut-outs or 'shift pins' give perfect engagement with the chain. Designed for singlespeed and track use, not for geared bikes. The 135mm BCD is ideal for converting a classic Campag 53/39 square taper road crank (Centaur, Veloce, Record etc) to a single ring for fixed/singlespeed use.

Variations include 130mm BCD in 1/8" or 3/32" width and 135mm and 144mm BCD in 1/8" only. The 1/8" width has nearly 50% more contact area for driving the chain than the 3/32". All BCD's available in sizes 42t, 43t, 44t, 45t, 46t, 47t, 48t, 49t. The 47t is great for multiple skid patches.

If you are converting a geared bike to singlespeed and you do not have a 12t lockring available from an old cassette or floating about in your spares box then this is what you need.

Similar to Shimano lockrings but machined from heat treated high strength 6061-T6 aluminium.alloy. Weight approx 7g. Anodized and laser etched. Superb finishing touch to a singlespeed (or geared) build. Looks great with VeloSolo singlespeed spacer kits.

Available in 12t blue - all other options unavailable. Choose 12t ring for singlespeed conversions with our spacers or when using a 12t small cog cassette on geared bikes. Choose 11t ring for use with an 11t cassette on a geared bike (11t lockring is NOT suitable for singlespeed spacers).

Note: we often get asked if our SS spacers are compatible with Campag hubs - they are not designed for Campag but most riders have used them successfully. Unlike Shimano, Campag have changed freehub OD dimensions over the years, the ID of our spacers is 35mm so please measure your hub with a vernier guage if unsure.

Photos show Shimano type mainly in use as a singlespeed lockring - Campag identical in looks except for engraving. These lockrings are of course originally intended for use with a regular geared bike cassette.

Zenith (Gran Compe) Forged Quill Stem 25.4mm or 26.0mm

As with Andel and Surly cogs so it is with Zenith and Dia Compe - this is the exact same stem Zenith manufacture for Dia Compe but unbranded and logo free. Our most popular stem. Not having a GC logo makes it around £15 less and superb value. These are new to VeloSolo and fill the gap nicely between the Kalloy and Nitto stems. Quill height is 130mm with max extension of 62mm.

Styling is very similar to the classic Cinelli 1A or Nitto Technomic. Manufacture is equally good being forged, with high quality machining and a very attractive polished or black anodized finish. There is a large range of options - clamps in 25.4mm or 26.0mm, lengths in 80mm or 100mm and finish in polished or black. New length of 60mm now in stock. Very popular stem, this version has a concealed style clamp bolt similar to a Cinelli XA. This is a very solid stem in forged and polished aluminium alloy with a 25.4mm clamp and a 150mm quill. Perfect match for our cut-down risers. Also fits track bars including various Nitto models.

Quill is 22.2mm (standard 1") for threaded steerer. Available in regular 80mm. Angle is 73 deg. Please see FAQ for handlebar and stem info
